Next major update will be Windows 10 April Update And probably appear on May 8

It seems April Update would be the new Official name And it would be windows 10 V1803 for next upcoming major update for Windows 10. Microsoft recently pushed a new RTM (Release To Manufacturing) all rings of the Windows Insider program. And After installing Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 17134.1, While open Edge Browser we found it loads a ‘welcome’ page says, “Welcome to the April update,” with the subtext, “This Windows 10 update contains many new features. Start here.” which you can see in the image below.

And The timetable could still provide for publication in April 2018. As a new date is now expected May 8, 2018 – the last possible date for an update, which should probably April update 2018.

Earlier it was believed that Microsoft could call the update as Windows 10 Spring Creators Update, but the plans have changed and the April Update name certainly makes more sense. This is a strong indicator that Microsoft is getting closer to pushing the next feature update to RTM, provided no blocking issues are found before rolling the update out to users.

As we all know Microsoft planned to release this update on April 10, But due to some Serious BSOD Bug Microsoft silently delayed the update. Microsoft is aware of the bug and it could be fixed with a cumulative update. And If no major bugs are found, the update could be released as soon as next week

Note: Microsoft still hasn’t announced the official name in any official blog posts for Redstone 4 build announcements. As a reminder, previous suggestions of the name for this update were: Spring Creators Update, Spring Update, and most recently, the April 2018 Update.
